Most of the Koreans don’t remember what happened just 5years ago, at the World cup season. June 29th 2002 was one day before the 2002 World cup ends. All the Koreans were excited that Korea team took 4th place. Nobody cared what happens outside the sea. There was a engagement between North and South Korea on the Yellow sea. Many people were kille by this engagement. It happened on 10:00am. Two patrol boats from North Korea came cross the border of South Korea tightened their guard against North Korea’s boat. Suddenly, without any warning, the boats from North Korea fired South Korea’s boats. Then the battle started. Although the enemy went back to north, 6 South Korea Soldiers died and 13 were injured. Moreover, compensation for injured and dead soldiers was very poor. North Koreas didn’t even apologize this engagement. Right now, the situation is very likely to 5years ago. North Korea is threatening many countries with their nuclear missile. However nobody in South Korea cares. They only concentrate on world cup. Now, it timed to care about our national security.

I have read a story of ‘Frankenstein’ today. I learned that people can’t live without love in that story. The monster was created with lack of attractiveness from others. Even his creator, Victor Frankenstein hated the monster. At first, the monster tries to make friends. The monster brings some wood to the cottage, however people refuse his attempt to be friend. The monster also demands Dr. Frankenstein to make another creature that can be friend with it. However, Victor fears to create another one. As a result, the monster became vengeful and kills Victor’s best friend. The author tries to say that the creature, who cannot be loved by anyone, can’t be a man. After his best friend dies, Victor tries to revenge. However, Dr. Frankenstein disserved his tragedy, because he made a creature, which has to live alone without love forever. Rejected as a man, the monster could only be a creature full of resentment. The life without love or friends will be a tragedy. Victor Frankenstein gave that life to the monster. Monster suffered because of his appearance and existence, and Victor should have thought of it. His science was not able to give monster the ability to attract others. This lack of science ruined the monster’s life.

People can be influenced by famous people. They can decide their goal in life by famous people. I also have one who helped me to decide the goal in my life. Although he is not famous, he is one of the most important guy in my life. His name is Ok-soo Han , professor of Chonam University and my father. When I was young, I actually wondered whether he was my father. He was one of the strictest father in the world. However as time passed by, I realized that he is the guy I want to be in the future. Therefore, I decided to be a professor.
One of the most thing that I alway emphaysize is new experience. I always tries to experience new things. Moreover, my father satisfise many things to help me to experience new things. Therefore I could have experienced many cultures. The job as a professor is the most important thing that he could have experienced many new things. Professor can travel many country for his research and meet many other people. If his research become sucessful, he also obtain fame and money.
Experiencing new things and meeting many people in may country for the subject that I am strongly interested in are fascinating things. If I became professor it would be a daily job I could do. If my father was not a professor, it might have been impossible for me decide such a facsinating goal.

There are many famous people's lives we can contact. However there is only one person that have strongly influenced on me. He sacrificed most of his life for others, although he was a famous scholar, musician and a doctor. He could have spent lest of his life comfortably and for himself. However he spent his life for others not for himself. His name is Alber Schweizer.
Albert Schweitzer was a famous musician from his young manhood. He was recognized as a concert organist. Although he could have satisfied as a famous musician, he earned funds as a musician for his later education to be a mission doctor in Africa. People might study for their more success in their life. However it would be a hard choice to study for other people. He spend eight years to help people in Africa. Right after he obtained hi M.D. degree, he founded his hospital in Africa. It is hard to imagine hardships he had to go over while studying and founding a hospital. Moreover, after he founded hospital in africa, he spent his remainder of his life in Africa.
In 1952, he recieved the Nobel Peace Prize. However He spent all prize money for better environment in Africa.
Albert Shweized had everything. He had money, success and fame. However he spent all those things in Africa helping many africans. He sacrifised everything for what he thought right. Nowadays he remembered as one of the greatest people in history.
